Odellian Productions has a stable of ensembles performing jazz, rock, rock & roll, swing, big band, and classical styles.
From elegant 'cool' jazz to wild progressive rock we can provide the entertainment for your event.
For large elegant gatherings or where ballroom dancing is desired a '40s style big band is just the thing, With a range from latin to swing, light rock to the occasional polka (by request only), the big band offers a tremendous variety.
With a broad selection from Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman to Brian Setzer and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (with a little Xavier Cugat sprinkled in) your guests will be 'cutting a rug' all evening.
This band's size ranges from 11 - 19 musicians depending upon the needs of the event (background entertainment is better provided by fewer, on the other hand, the variety of vocals and artists is enhanced by larger). Single night bookings start at $2000.*
The Horn Rock Bands feature the music of phenominal artists such as Chicago, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Brian Setzer, Kool and the Gang, Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye, The Boxtops, Sam Cooke, and Joe Cocker.
Other artists are included but are too numerous to be named.
The horn rock ensembles can range from 8-13 musicians. The larger ensemble provides a dynamic, high energy show with excellent continuity as the musicians can alternate (more vocalists and horns) and there is less 'talk' time between tunes. The smaller ensemble offers a hgh quality musical performance but with slightly more 'talk' time in the show to give the vocalist and other musicians time to transition between tunes. Also, by pre-arrangement, these ensembles can include 'jazz standards' for variety.

The Rock 'N Roll Bands feature the music of artists such as The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, The Boxtops, Sam Cooke, Bare Naked Ladies, Joe Cocker, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Skynard and many others.
These ensembles are typically 4-5 musicians.
These ensembles start at $750
The Progressive Rock group feature the music of Yes, Journey, Jethro Tull and a nice variety of others.
This ensemble is in high demand and it is advised that bookings be made at least 3 months in advance. The musicians are highly skilled, extremely well practiced and this is a truly unique group.
This ensemble starts at $1500.*
The Jazz Bands feature an extremely wide variety of styles and sizes.
An elegant duo providing light jazz background music, progressive fusion jazz group (in the Spyro Gyra vein), a with west coast 'cool' group (ala Dave Brubeck) or hard 'bop' larger ensembles (ala Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers) are all available depending upon your needs and budget.
Need a sweet duo to accompany a dinner party, we have it. Putting on a high energy corporate event that needs a 'power' ensemble to add punch and dynamics, go fusion.
These ensembles start at $300 for the duo and range upward.*
The classical ensembles are perfect for wedding ceremonies, background music at corporate events or any time one needs an air of elegance.
Prices for these ensembles a determined based upon the needs of the engagement. The number of musicians can range from a solo pianist to a small choir. Duration ranges from an hour to 4 or more.*
*All of the prices quoted are for three - 50 minute sets per engagement over the course of 3 consecutive hours. Longer engagements (either/or both, more performance minutes or more consecutive hours) can be negotiated. Additionally, the quoted prices are for the smallest version of the ensemble, larger ensembles add cost to the performance and are priced commensurately higher.
